Why Branding Matters
A consistent brand experience builds trust with your members. GymPoint lets you apply your gym's visual identity across the member portal, email communications, invoices, and the kiosk check-in screen. When members interact with any part of your GymPoint setup, it looks and feels like your gym, not a generic software tool.
Accessing Branding Settings
- Log in to your GymPoint dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings > Organization > General in the left sidebar to set your gym name, brand colors, and other details. Your logo is managed under Settings > Organization > Logo.
- The settings page shows a live preview of your changes as you make them.
Logo Configuration
Your logo is the most visible element of your brand within GymPoint. It appears in several places:
- Customer portal header and login page.
- Email headers on all automated communications (welcome emails, invoices, receipts, dunning messages).
- Invoice PDFs in the top-left corner.
- Kiosk check-in screen prominently displayed during the self-service flow.
Uploading Your Logo
Go to Settings > Organization > Logo to manage your logo.
- Click the Upload Logo area or drag and drop your image file.
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, or SVG.
- Recommended dimensions: at least 400x400 pixels.
- Maximum file size: 2MB.
For best results, use a logo with a transparent background (PNG or SVG). This ensures it looks clean on both light and dark surfaces.
Brand Colors
GymPoint uses your brand colors to style interactive elements throughout the platform. You can configure two main colors.
Primary Color
Your primary color is used for:
- Buttons and call-to-action elements in the member portal.
- Email header backgrounds.
- The kiosk check-in accent color.
- Invoice accent lines and highlights.
Secondary Color
Your secondary color is used for:
- Hover states and secondary buttons.
- Links and interactive text elements.
- Supporting accents in the portal layout.
How to Set Colors
- Click the color swatch next to Primary Color or Secondary Color.
- Use the color picker or enter a hex code directly (e.g.,
#2563EB). - The live preview on the right updates instantly so you can see how your colors look.
- Click Save Changes when you are satisfied.
Tips for Choosing Colors
- Make sure your primary color has enough contrast against white text for readability.
- Avoid overly bright or neon colors that may cause eye strain on the portal.
- Test your color choices on both desktop and mobile by previewing the member portal after saving.
Where Branding Appears
Customer Portal
The member portal is the member-facing part of GymPoint where members log in to view invoices, book classes, and manage payment methods. Your logo appears in the header, and your brand colors style all buttons, links, and navigation elements.
Email Communications
All system-generated emails include your logo in the header and use your primary brand color for the header background and call-to-action buttons. This applies to:
- Welcome emails sent to new members.
- Invoice and receipt emails.
- Dunning and collections messages.
- Class booking confirmations.
- Custom email templates you create in the Communications section.
Invoices
PDF invoices display your logo in the top-left corner. Your primary brand color is used for accent lines, table headers, and the payment status badge.
Kiosk Check-in Screen
The front desk kiosk shows your logo prominently on the check-in screen. The primary brand color styles the check-in button and confirmation messages.
Resetting to Defaults
If you want to start over with the default GymPoint styling, click the Reset to Defaults button at the bottom of the Settings > Organization > General page. This removes your custom logo and restores the default color scheme. Your previous settings cannot be recovered after resetting, so make note of your hex codes before resetting if you may want to reuse them.
Saving and Previewing
After making changes, always click Save Changes. Then open your member portal in a new browser tab to verify the branding looks correct from a member's perspective. Check both desktop and mobile views for a complete review.
