Correct. You pay a simple per-transaction rate and nothing else — no monthly fees, no annual fees, no setup fees, no PCI compliance fees, no hardware fees, no statement fees, and no reporting fees.
What's the difference between the two rates?
Card-present transactions — tapped, dipped, or swiped in person on your terminal — are 2.49% + 20¢. Online, card-on-file, and manually keyed transactions are 3.49% + 20¢, which reflects the higher cost of card-not-present processing.
Do the rates include PCI compliance?
Yes. Payments run through GymPoint's integrated processing, which keeps your gym out of PCI scope — with no separate compliance fee tacked on.
