Dashboard Widgets & KPIs
The GymPoint dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of your gym's health through a set of real-time widgets. Each widget tracks a key performance indicator (KPI) so you can spot trends, celebrate wins, and address issues before they grow.
Accessing the Dashboard
When you log in to GymPoint, the dashboard is the first screen you see. You can return to it at any time by clicking Dashboard in the left sidebar.

MRR Gauge
The Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) gauge shows the total predictable revenue your gym earns each month from active memberships and recurring billing plans. The gauge displays your current MRR against your target, making it easy to see how close you are to your revenue goals.
How it's calculated: GymPoint sums the monthly value of every active, recurring membership. Annual plans are divided by 12 to normalize them into a monthly figure. One-time payments and retail sales are excluded.
ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue)
ARR is simply your MRR multiplied by 12. This widget helps you think about your gym's revenue on a yearly scale, which is useful for long-term planning and forecasting.
Revenue Trend
The revenue trend chart plots your actual collected revenue over the past 12 months as a line graph. This includes all payment types — recurring charges, one-time purchases, and late payment collections. Hover over any data point to see the exact dollar amount for that month.
Member Count
This widget shows your total active members alongside a small trend indicator. An upward arrow means your active membership count grew compared to last month; a downward arrow means it shrank. The count includes only members with an active or current membership status.
Billing Health Gauge
The billing health gauge is a color-coded meter that rates how well your billing is performing. It factors in:
- Successful payment rate — percentage of charges that process without failure
- Overdue accounts — how many members have past-due balances
- Failed payment recovery — how quickly failed payments are retried and collected
A green gauge means your billing is healthy (95%+ success rate). Yellow indicates some attention is needed. Red signals significant billing issues that require immediate action.
Recent Activity Feed
The recent activity widget displays a chronological feed of the latest events in your gym, including:
- New member sign-ups
- Payments received
- Failed payment alerts
- Check-ins
- Membership changes (upgrades, downgrades, cancellations)
The feed shows the 20 most recent events and updates automatically.
How Data Is Calculated
All dashboard metrics are calculated from your live transactional data. GymPoint processes billing events, membership changes, and check-in records in real time to keep your widgets current.
- MRR and ARR update whenever a membership is created, changed, or canceled.
- Revenue trend updates as payments are processed or refunded.
- Member count reflects the current count of members whose status is active.
- Billing health recalculates after each billing cycle or retry attempt.
Refresh Frequency
Dashboard widgets refresh automatically every time you load or navigate to the dashboard. Data is pulled in real time from your organization's database, so what you see is always current. If you leave the dashboard open, you can click the refresh icon in the top-right corner to pull the latest numbers without reloading the page.
Tips for Using the Dashboard
- Check it daily. A quick glance each morning helps you catch failed payments or membership drops early.
- Set an MRR target. The MRR gauge is most useful when you configure a revenue goal under Settings > Organization > General Settings.
- Use the activity feed for follow-up. If you see a cancellation or failed payment in the feed, click it to go directly to that member's profile and take action.
