Best Bungee Fitness Studio Software in 2026: Rig Capacity, Intro Classes and Packs Compared
Every bungee booking reserves a physical rig, and a no-show leaves a rig empty that you cannot resell.
This guide compares six platforms on the path from intro offer to regular class, using only published pricing. Prices and estimates below were checked 11/04/2026.
The short answer: if you want rig-count class caps, waitlist Auto-Promote, scoped intro packs and a waiver at booking on a free plan, GymPoint (our product) is worth testing first. WellnessLiving and Mindbody are the most common platforms among the bungee studios we sampled. Mindbody offers a branded native app, and BungeeONE runs a WellnessLiving-built branded app.
What a bungee studio needs from software
- Per-rig capacity and a waitlist. Bookings stop when every rig is claimed, and the next person in line gets a spot when someone cancels.
- An intro offer sold as its own pack. Many bungee studios require an intro class first, so the intro pack should cover only Intro.
- A waiver before the first booking. Signature and health questions belong in the booking flow, not on a separate link.
- Late-cancel and no-show fees. An empty rig is lost revenue. The policy should show before booking and charge the card on file.
- Parties and privates. Private sessions, parties and kids' classes each need a booking and payment path.
- Total cost, including processing. Card processing on packs and memberships is often bigger than the subscription.
How we evaluated
We sampled 20 bungee studio websites on 11/04/2026 and identified the booking tool from each site's booking links and embeds. The tally: WellnessLiving 4, Mindbody 4, Gymdesk 3, Arketa 2, Wix Bookings 2, and Momence, Acuity, GoHighLevel, Punchpass and TeamUp 1 each. Twenty studios is a small sample, not a market-share figure.
We opened each vendor's public pricing page the same day. GymPoint's processing rates come from our gym software pricing comparison.
The best bungee fitness studio software in 2026
1. GymPoint (our product)
GymPoint is our product, so its limits are listed as plainly as its strengths.
Best for: independent bungee studios that want rig-count caps, scoped intro packs, a waiver at booking and late-cancel fees on published pricing, starting free.
Pricing: Free for unlimited members, with GymPoint Payments required. Free covers one location. Growth is $39 per month and Pro is $99 per month. There are no contracts and no setup fees, and annual billing saves 20% on paid plans. Processing is 2.49% + 20¢ for card-present payments and 3.49% + 20¢ for online, card-on-file, and keyed payments. Every plan includes a free Poynt smart terminal for accounts processing over $5,000 per month. Texting has its own charges.
Strengths for bungee:
- Rig capacity. Set each class's max capacity to your rig count. When it fills, Book turns into Join Waitlist. Lower capacity for one session when a rig is out of service.
- Waitlists that promote themselves. With Auto-Promote on, the next person in line gets the spot when someone cancels. A promotion window, such as up to 2 hours before class, prevents last-minute promotions.
- Scoped packs and a booking waiver. Sell the intro as its own pack, scoped to the Intro class, and scope regular packs to Level 1 and up. The e-sign waiver is required at booking, with health questions on it.
- Late-cancel and no-show fees. GymPoint charges the card on file, or creates an invoice due in 3 days if there is no card. With the setting on, a late cancel also burns a pack credit.
- Privates, parties and retail. Appointments and per-instructor booking links handle privates. Space rental handles parties and requires GymPoint Payments. Family accounts cover kids, and the Poynt terminal sells grip socks.
Honest limitations: GymPoint has no App Store or Google Play app. The member portal installs to the phone's home screen from the browser, with your studio's logo and name. It has no push notifications yet, so clients hear from you by email and text, and it has no offline mode. There is no consumer marketplace to send you new clients, and payments are card only, with no ACH debit. A public API, webhooks, and Zapier are in development, not available today. Pulse AI churn prediction and AI-drafted messages are on Growth and Pro, not Free. GymPoint also does not block a regular-class booking until a rider has completed Intro. Intro classes are sold as their own pack, scoped to the Intro class, and regular packs are scoped to Level 1 and up, so instructors decide when a rider graduates.
Bungee notes: Start on Free, set each class cap to your rig count, and build the Intro pack first. Turn on the waiver and Auto-Promote before you set fees. More at GymPoint for bungee studios.
2. WellnessLiving
Best for: studios that want the platform most often seen in our bungee sample, with a branded app built for at least one bungee chain.
Pricing: The lowest displayed price is a Business promotion at $35/mo billed annually or $39/mo billed monthly. The promo lasts 2 months; regular Business is $179/mo annually or $199/mo monthly. Starter is $62/mo annually or $69/mo monthly, with one staff member. Processing and add-ons need a quote.
Strengths: WellnessLiving runs 4 of the 20 studios we sampled, including Flyte Bungee, Soaring Bungee and BungeeONE, which has a WellnessLiving-built branded app. Fly to Fit, a bungee franchise in Albany, New York, left Mindbody because "the price kept going up" and reports doubled revenue after moving, per WellnessLiving's case study.
Honest limitations: The headline price is a 2-month promotion. Starter covers one staff member, so a multi-instructor studio will likely need Business. Processing rates are not published.
Bungee notes: In the demo, have the rep run the hard case: a pack client cancels late while someone is on the waitlist.
3. Mindbody
Best for: established studios in markets where the Mindbody consumer app is a real source of new clients, and studios that want a branded native app.
Pricing: Starter is $79 per month per location. Pricing above Starter is not published and requires a demo. Mindbody's pricing page notes processing fees on payments, texts, and some integrations without listing the rates. Mindbody also charges commission on bookings made through its marketplace.
Strengths: In the market since 2001, Mindbody offers a branded native app and the Mindbody consumer marketplace app, where people search for classes near them. It supports Reserve with Google, waitlists, and more than 200 third-party integrations. It runs 4 of the 20 studios we sampled, including Big Sky Bungee.
Honest limitations: Higher tiers need a sales call, and per-location pricing multiplies if you open a second studio. Marketplace commissions and processing come on top.
Bungee notes: One sampled Mindbody studio runs its waiver on a separate link, so ask whether the waiver can sit inside booking on your plan. Our Mindbody alternatives guide covers the tradeoff.
4. Gymdesk
Best for: small studios that want published prices and a real trial.
Pricing: Gymdesk prices by active-member tier. Micro covers up to 50 active members at $75/mo with Gymdesk Payments or $100/mo without. At 100 active members, Small Gym is $100/mo with Gymdesk Payments or $125/mo without. Processing rates need a quote, and there is a 30-day free trial.
Strengths: Gymdesk runs 3 of the 20 studios we sampled, two of them in Idaho. Fly Fit Bungee puts a full liability waiver inside its Gymdesk booking flow and shows full classes with a waitlist.
Honest limitations: The bill rises with your roster, and processing rates are not published.
Bungee notes: Price it by roster, not rig count. The tier counts everyone with an active pack or membership.
5. Arketa
Best for: solo instructors on its published Individual plans. Studios will need a quote.
Pricing: Arketa's published plans are for individual instructors: Individual Basic at $49 per month and Individual Suite at $124 per month, both billed annually. Its Studio plans, the ones most multi-instructor studios would need, require a sales call. A free trial is available. Processing runs through Stripe, plus an additional 3% platform fee on Individual plans.
Strengths: Arketa runs 2 of the 20 studios we sampled, including the Sling Bungee Fitness flagship in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Honest limitations: We have no verified feature details beyond its pricing page, so we will not guess. The 3% platform fee on Individual plans sits on top of Stripe's processing.
Bungee notes: Ask what the Studio plan costs at your instructor count and whether the 3% fee applies to it.
6. Momence
Best for: studios willing to get a tailored quote before comparing costs.
Pricing: Not published. Momence tailors pricing through sales, and its pricing page lists no subscription, processing or add-on amounts. A free trial is available.
Strengths: Momence runs 1 of the 20 studios we sampled, Fly High Bungee in Summerville, South Carolina.
Honest limitations: We have no verified feature details beyond its pricing page, so we will not guess.
Bungee notes: Get a written subscription and processing quote, then ask to see a class cap, an intro pack and a late cancel on a full class.

What it actually costs per month
The studio: 12 rigs and 100 active members. Each month it bills 100 card-on-file payments of $150, for $15,000 online, and 40 in-person sales of $15, such as grip socks, for $600. These inputs match our Pilates comparison example and are assumptions, not bungee averages.
| Platform | Monthly example | Arithmetic / missing inputs | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| GymPoint | $566.44 | Free $0 + 100 x ($150 x 3.49% + $0.20) + 40 x ($15 x 2.49% + $0.20) = $0 + $543.50 + $22.94. | Rate reference |

On GymPoint Growth, add $39 for $605.44. On an Arketa Individual plan, the 3% platform fee alone on $15,000 is $450, before Stripe's processing. A blank total means the rate is not public, so ask every vendor for monthly software at your size, the online card rate and the in-person rate.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best software for a bungee studio?
For rig-count caps, waitlist Auto-Promote, scoped intro packs and a waiver at booking on a free plan, try GymPoint (our product). WellnessLiving and Mindbody were the most common platforms in our sample of 20 bungee studios.
Is there free bungee fitness studio software?
Yes. GymPoint has a Free plan for unlimited members, with one location and GymPoint Payments required. Processing still applies at 2.49% + 20¢ in person and 3.49% + 20¢ online. Gymdesk, Arketa and Momence offer free trials, not free plans.
Can GymPoint enforce Intro completion?
Not on its own. You sell the intro as its own pack and scope regular packs to Level 1 and up, and your instructors decide when a rider graduates.
Does rig count determine the software bill?
Rig count sets your class cap. The bill depends on each vendor: Gymdesk prices by active members, Mindbody by location, and Arketa's Studio plans and Momence by quote.
What should I test before switching?
Rehearse an intro purchase, waiver, full class, waitlist promotion, late cancel and private appointment. Check that pack balances carry over.
