Do I need a separate payment processor?

No, and on the Free plan you can't use one. GymPoint Payments is built in: card on file, Apple Pay, swipe, chip, and a free smart terminal once you process over $5,000 per month.

Is there a member limit on the Free plan?

No. Free includes unlimited members, unlimited staff logins, and one location. Growth and Pro add AI and growth tools, and Pro adds multiple locations.

What isn't included on the Free plan?

Pulse AI beyond a $1 monthly credit, the lead pipeline, segments and email or SMS campaigns, collections, and corporate billing. Those are on Growth ($149/month) and Pro ($249/month).

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes. Move to Growth or Pro from Settings whenever you want more. Paid monthly plans include a 7-day trial. You can move back to Free later; nothing is deleted.

What happens if I stop processing payments with GymPoint?

You get a 5-day warning, then the account becomes read-only until you reconnect GymPoint Payments. Your data stays intact and exportable the whole time.

Is GymPoint open source?

No. GymPoint is hosted software we run and support for you. If you want open-source gym software you self-host, GYM One on GitHub is a real option; you provide the server, backups, and updates.
