The Free Plan: GymPoint Free for Unlimited Members

What Is the Free Plan?

GymPoint's Free plan is $0/month with unlimited members and one location. It isn't a trial and it doesn't expire. You get the core GymPoint platform: member and family management, recurring billing with automated dunning, class scheduling with waitlists, public online booking, kiosk check-in and Kisi door access, retail point of sale with inventory, digital waivers, and the member portal.

There's no credit card required at signup. Pick Free, create your account, and you're running, at any gym size.

What the Free Plan Requires

No tricks: the Free plan is free because GymPoint earns a small share of card-processing revenue when you bill your members through GymPoint Payments (our integrated processing, powered by GoDaddy). Your members pay their dues, we earn on the processing, and the software costs you nothing. That's the whole model: the same one used by some of the biggest names in small-business software.

That means the Free plan has one real requirement: GymPoint Payments must be your payment processor.

• Connect it within your first 5 days of signup (approval is real-time, most gyms are processing the same day). You have 5 days after signup to connect GymPoint Payments; after that you get a 5-day warning, then the account is read-only until you connect.
• Once connected, your account needs at least one completed payment through GymPoint Payments every 60 days to stay active.

If 60 days pass with no completed payment, you'll get a 5-day warning email. If you still haven't reconnected after that, the account becomes read-only until you do: you can see all your data but can't make changes. Nothing is ever deleted, and reconnecting GymPoint Payments restores full access immediately.

What the Free Plan Doesn't Include

The Free plan runs the full operational platform, but a few things are reserved for Growth and Pro:

• Pulse AI beyond a $1 monthly credit. The full Pulse AI suite (smart dunning AI, churn prediction, AI-drafted messages, and the weekly insights digest) is on Growth and Pro, with 500 credits on Growth and unlimited credits on Pro.
• The lead pipeline CRM.
• Segments and campaigns (bulk email and SMS marketing to your member list; transactional messages like receipts and booking confirmations always work on every plan).
• The collections dashboard.
• Corporate billing.
• Multi-location support (Pro only).

Everything else (billing, scheduling, POS, the member portal, waivers, kiosk check-in, and Kisi door access) is included on the Free plan at any gym size, with no member cap.

How Do I Upgrade?

Go to Settings → Account → Plan and choose Growth ($149/month) or Pro ($249/month). A card is required. Monthly plans bill month to month; annual billing prepays 12 months and saves roughly 20%.

What Happened to the Starter Plan?

The Starter plan ($79/month) was retired on 2026-08-23. Any gym that was on Starter was moved to the Free plan automatically, at no cost, with no loss of data or features you were actively using.
