An approved partner and vetted ISV

GymPoint is an approved GoDaddy partner and independent software vendor (ISV). We built our integration with GoDaddy's payment platform, connecting GymPoint's gym management software with GoDaddy's payment infrastructure.

GymPoint has been vetted as an ISV through this partnership. For a gym evaluating a move to GymPoint, this identifies both the software company behind the integration and the payment provider behind GymPoint Payments. The partnership concerns our payments integration; it is not a blanket GoDaddy endorsement of every GymPoint feature.

For a quick overview, see Who powers GymPoint's payments?, our payment integration page, or the homepage payments section.

    Who does what?

    AreaRole
Gym management and integrationGymPoint builds the gym software and the integration connecting membership billing, online payments, and Poynt terminal payments to GoDaddy's platform.
Payment infrastructureGoDaddy Payments acts as a payment facilitator, working with processors and banking partners.
UnderwritingGoDaddy Payments conducts merchant due diligence and may request business, bank, or previous processing records.
Risk managementGoDaddy and its service providers conduct fraud monitoring and reviews. Holds or reserves can apply under the merchant terms.
Settlement and payoutsGoDaddy funds, or directs its processor or bank to fund, the linked settlement account after applicable deductions and subject to the merchant terms.

These payment-provider roles are described in GoDaddy's Commerce Services Agreement and underwriting review guidance. Your merchant agreement and account-specific notices govern your payment services.

    Underwriting and risk management

GoDaddy's review guidance explains that underwriting can happen during onboarding, when processing begins, or later. An established gym may be asked for statements from its previous processor and its bank to verify the business and processing history. Follow the secure submission instructions supplied by the GoDaddy Payments Review Team.

Risk management is an ongoing process. GoDaddy documents account reviews, reserves, and transaction holds in its held or delayed payouts guide. Partner approval for GymPoint is separate from underwriting for an individual gym's merchant account.

    Processing, settlement, and payment reliability

GymPoint connects your billing workflows to GoDaddy's payment infrastructure. GoDaddy's agreement describes payment processing and settlement through its processors and banking partners. This gives buyers a documented view of who provides each part of the payment service.

A successful charge and a bank payout are different steps. GoDaddy explains that account reviews, pending application details, reserves, transaction holds, or a bank account that has not been linked can affect payouts. Use your account's payout information and merchant terms to confirm timing.

This partnership does not promise uninterrupted service, approval of every payment or merchant account, a guaranteed deposit schedule, or protection from all fraud and chargebacks. Review payment setup and payout status before moving an established gym's billing to a new system.
